August Brown was established in 2011 by Dr. Gordon Nameni after completing an NSF Corporate Post-doctorate at A.O. Smith Corporation. The team is made up of engineers, scientists and business professionals with domain knowledge in materials, chemicals, biomedical, environmental and semiconductor manufacturing industries. August Brown works with R&D, engineering, and marketing teams to improve the commercial outcome of new product or technology initiatives.
With this laser focus, August Brown has developed unique methodologies and frameworks that minimize risks in market execution and produce an ecosystem that leads to sustainable targeted revenue growth. As an outgrowth of this work, August Brown regularly provides feasibility studies and reviews, FMV assessments and reasonableness opinions to commercial banks, private equity groups, and investors.
